Is a lack of confidence keeping you stuck?

Is a lack of confidence keeping you stuck?

Is a lack of confidence keeping you stuck, putting a ceiling on your career?

In the early parts of our career, we are often working alone or in very small groups doing our thing and so confidence doesn’t really loom as a significant matter.

But as we rise up through the ranks, we can be called upon to speak up at larger meetings, address big events, have difficult conversations with clients or customers etc.

And to further your career you may also need to be able to have difficult conversations with the people you work for, perhaps asking for a raise or talking about things that could be improved or things that are not quite right.

And when it comes time to look for another position, you might looking for an extra boost of confidence when applying for a high-flying position that will pay you a lot more but are afraid to do so because you are held back by your self-doubts.

So, your lack of self-confidence could be placing a metaphorical ceiling on your career and end up having a pretty significant effect in the long-term. And, it can be quite costly, both financially and in terms of other areas of your life.

Now, there certainly are techniques and tactics that can be used to help you relax and deal with these types of difficult conversations on a conscious level and I can help you with those.

But, often, some of the troublesome issues can be due to unconscious programming in the form of limiting beliefs, decisions and emotions, that you have taken on at a very young age and are having such a damaging effect on you now.

Because these issues are unconscious, they are very hard to work on by yourself because, well, they are unconscious! And so you are not really conscious of them.

They are best dealt with working one-on-one with a therapeutic coach, where we can have what will seem to be a fairly normal conversation, but it will be one that will help you reach into your unconscious mind so you can let go of those limiting beliefs and emotions that have held you back for so long.

If this is of interest to you, DM me and we can arrange a friendly chat to discuss ways of helping you solve those problem, once and for all.
