Each of us is as unique as our fingerprints.

It has been said that each of us is walking a path that is as narrow as a razor’s edge in its uniqueness.

Think about it. Each of us is as unique as our fingerprints. Each of us has a unique set of skills and talents and a unique perspective of our own world, created in part by the unique set of life experiences that have brought us to the present moment.

So, each of us has a unique contribution to make using our own unique and special skills, talents and perspectives.

I understand that without honeybees, human civilisation would not exist, as all agriculture and vegetation would be wiped out. And so, as it goes about its daily activities, each honeybee, in doing what it is programmed to do using its unique set of skills and talents, is making its own unique and very important contribution to our world.

In much the same way, as we go about our daily activities, each of us is similarly, and possibly unwittingly, making our own contribution to the world, again using our own unique set of skills and talents.  All the more so if we are engaged in something that we feel passionately about.

So we can rejoice in our uniqueness and the special contribution that we can therefore make.
