Are your inner struggles making things difficult for you at work
Are you struggling at work? Do you find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated? Maybe you’re not alone, and it’s time to take a look at what’s going on inside. That’s right, we’re talking about your INNER STRUGGLES.

Our negative parental self-talk can make life difficult for us
Negative parental self-talk refers to the negative thoughts and beliefs that we have internalized from our parents or caregivers during our childhood. These thoughts and beliefs can be harmful and limiting, affecting our self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being as adults. Here are some ways in which negative parental self-talk can make life difficult for us:

We may encounter many defeats
Maya Angelou’s words are both inspiring and challenging. It’s easy to get discouraged when we face defeat after defeat, but Angelou reminds us that we must not give up.

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow
Have you ever caught yourself worrying so much about the future that you forget to enjoy the present? I know I have. Sometimes it feels like we’re so preoccupied with what’s to come that we forget to appreciate what we have right now.

Is fear of failure holding you back in life – Part 4
Another way to overcome fear of failure is to develop a plan for dealing with setbacks. When we fear failure, we often focus solely on the negative outcomes and don’t consider how we can recover from them. But by developing a plan for dealing with setbacks, we can feel more prepared and confident when we face challenges.

The words we use in our self-talk
The old saying that ‘sticks and stone might break our bones, but words will never hurt us’ is NOT true! Words can be incredibly powerful – the can start wars, they can create peace, they can start relationships that last a lifetime, they can create civilisations.

Decide, Commit, Act
It’s not all that unusual to have problems achieving a goal so it can be helpful to be aware of the individual steps that are required in order that you can do so successfully.

Believe you can and you’re halfway there
Sometimes the goals that we set for ourselves seem to be just that little bit out of our reach, especially if our backs are against the wall and our self-confidence has taken a bit of a hit lately. In fact, w because of that, we can find ourselves slipping into the habit of casually setting goals for ourselves that we really don’t believe we can achieve, and then making excuses when we fail.

Is fear of failure holding you back in life? – Part 3
To add to my earlier posts on this subject, it’s important to recognize that fear of failure is often closely tied to our sense of self-worth. When we fear failure, we may worry that it will reflect poorly on us as individuals or make us feel like we’re not good enough. This can create a negative feedback loop, as the more we fear failure, the more it reinforces our negative beliefs about ourselves.
