Sometimes the goals that we set for ourselves seem to be just that little bit out of our reach, especially if our backs are against the wall and our self-confidence has taken a bit of a hit lately. In fact, w because of that, we can find ourselves slipping into the habit of casually setting goals for ourselves that we really don’t believe we can achieve, and then making excuses when we fail.
This is not a good habit to get into because you are teaching yourself that striving to achieve your goals is not as important as it should be. This is because, in order to have a happy and fulfilling life, it’s important to be able to rely on yourself to achieve the goals that we set for yourself, rather than failing regularly and saying that it doesn’t really matter.
To prevent this happening, it’s a good idea to be a bit more formal when you are setting important goals, being consciously aware of the commitment that you are making to yourself. And, as you do this, it is important that you have faith in yourself and the fact that you will make it happen.
I hope that you find this quote helps you those times.
